SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN LIGHTING
FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN AND PLANNING
REFERENCE NO. 653/0310

The Faculty of Architecture Design & Planning is one of the world’s leading lighting teaching and research centres.  Its graduate professional lighting program, started in 1979, has graduates on all continents and in Australia, its graduates dominate both the design and supply industries. The program emphasises both the art and science of lighting and is firmly based on the understanding of people’s response to light.

Our research facilities can support human factors, colour and daylighting research. Opportunities also exist for collaborative research and teaching within the university and with institutions around the world. Research has concentrated on how people see in real complex environments, colour in design and on daylight availability and appropriate design techniques for regions that are mainly sunny.
