Applications are invited for appointment to this position, which will be offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis until 31 December 2012.

Support & Equity is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Career Development and Employment team. The incumbent is responsible to the Manager, Support & Equity for supporting a comprehensive range of graduate recruitment activities and for oversight and promotion of career and employment related resources. In consultation with the Careers & Employment team, the incumbent will also contribute to the maintenance and further development of other career development and employment services.

Working under broad direction of the Manager Support & Equity, and in consultation with the Career Development and Employment team, the incumbent will be responsible for providing a professional first point of contact' for the Career and Employment service and assist with a comprehensive range of graduate recruitment activities including: the Careers Fair; employer panels and information sessions; mail-outs of employer information; and marketing of graduate opportunities. The position is responsible for the upkeep, promotion and dissemination of career and employment related resources and equipment and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Student Employment Service including the maintenance and continuous improvement of CareerHub database system. The incumbent will provide administrative support to career and employment related activities including responsibility for the monitoring, review and evaluation of services, organisation of key events, collation of data, preparation of reports and development of print based and web-based resources in relation to career and employment related activities.

The appointment will be at HEO Level 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $58,749 per annum. This package comprises salary within the range $46,713 - $50,213 plus 17% superannuation, with the option of an additional 3% salary loading in exchange for 14% instead of 17% superannuation.
