MARKETING AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS

Australian Catholic University is a public university open to all, with six campuses located in Brisbane, Sydney (2), Canberra, Melbourne and Ballarat.

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the promotion of ACU, with a focus on implementing national marketing strategies and plans at the Canberra Campus which facilitate high quality applications. The position develops and fosters relationships with internal and external stakeholders, undertakes market research and analysis, and develops and implements local marketing campaigns and engagement strategies.

This position has an important role in customer relationship management, enhancing engagement with secondary schools, other key prospective student groups and influencers, and coordinating all campus student recruitment activities, including the University Ambassador programs.

Applicants should demonstrate experience in planning and implementing marketing campaigns based on analysis of market research and intelligence. They should have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities/projects and achieve effective outcomes in a high pressure environment. Well developed written and verbal communication skills are essential. Applicants should also have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build working relationships with people at all levels of the University and with external professional stakeholders and service providers. It is essential that applicants have a drivers licence.

Total remuneration valued to $74,212 - $80,320 pa, including salary component $62,710 - $67,871 pa (HEW Level 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
