Professor of Psychology (Clinical)
The School is situated within the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences. Its world leading research addresses both theoretical and practical issues with strong links to industry and community bodies. The School has a major research centre with researchers of international regard and a strong track record in ARC funded projects.
As Professor of Psychology (Clinical) you will be responsible for providing leadership in the profession of clinical psychology and for fostering excellence in research and teaching in the School and wider community. You will have an ability to facilitate strong industry networks and information sharing and lead innovative scholarship and research.
You will have a successful record in publication and PhD supervision, be eligible for membership of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and registration with the South Australian Psychological Board. This position requires a PhD in Psychology and demonstrated expert knowledge in the field of clinical psychology. Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and a capacity to lead a clinical research program and attract nationally competitive research grants/consultancies is essential.
