VU has approximately 3,250 ongoing, fixed term and sessional/casual staff.  There is a wide range of opportunities for teaching, research and professional staff.

Our people enjoy working at our various VU locations, many of which are outside the busy Melbourne CBD area.  All locations are accessible by a range of public transport options and car parking is generally available. 

We work with communities in Melbourne’s western suburbs but are also building our national and international presence.  Our staff are as diverse as our student group and the communities in which we operate.
