Introduction

The University of the Sunshine Coast has a history of innovation and a reputation for quality. More than 5,000 students study in a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs across Arts and Social Sciences, Business, and Science, Health and Education.

Students consistently give USC top marks for educational experience. The 2009 Good Universities Guide awarded the University five-stars for teaching quality, staff qualifications, graduates' generic skills and graduate satisfaction. USC also has the highest proportion of academic staff with Doctoral or Masters qualifications of any university in Queensland—and the fifth highest of all Australian universities.#

The University conducts research in areas of regional significance and seeks to engage with the Sunshine Coast region and institutions overseas. Almost 1,000 international students from 50 countries are enrolled at USC, and the University has built relationships with partner universities around the world.

The USC campus is situated in an ideal coastal location, providing both students and staff with easy access to one of Australia’s most sought-after living environments.
