In an effort to jump start community spirit, UniJobs are pleased to announce several new university sponsorship initiatives.
Nothing brings people together like sport, and so it was fitting that the first of our new initiatives was sponsorship of the University of Ballarat’s TAFE softball team.
UniJobs recognises the importance of bringing people together, and nothing inflames the fire of community effort like some friendly competition.
With new Helmets, Gloves, Balls, Bats and Catching equipment, we wish all 22 members of the team the best of luck and hope they can hit a few home runs for us.
UniJobs is also delighted to announce the second of our new university sponsorship initiatives; uniform sponsor of the University of Canberra’s Fitz’s Challenge Bike ride team.
The event is well known as Canberra’s biggest long-distance one-day participation event, and will test participant’s strength and agility over a number of gruelling courses.
Composed of Academics and Administration staff, the team will face a number of challenges ranging from a 50km ride all the way to an epic 207km challenge.
We are also pleased to announce that all proceeds raised by the event will go to charity, and we wish all 34 members the best of luck as they raise money for the Oncology Children’s Foundation.
With excellent initiatives like these, UniJobs hopes to strengthen the bonds of community attitudes.
